Many times, the form can be simplified by spanning it across several pages. Due to less content being displayed at a time, large forms will not only become more pleasant but also load faster on your site because less information is being loaded at a time. In this article, we will show you how to create a multi-page form using Gravity Forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video autoplay controls loop src=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/CleanShot-2021-07-01-at-19.12.43.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption>This animation illustrates how to create a multi-page form. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-setup\">Setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This article assumes that you have a basic understanding in creating forms, and have already created a form with multiple fields. If you need more information, see our <a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/creating-a-form\/\">form creation<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> article.<\/span><\/li><li> Now that you have your form fields in place, you just need to separate the fields by page. To do this, go to the right of the form editor and look inside the <strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Standard Fields<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> section. Inside this section, click and drag the <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Page<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> field type<\/span> and drop it between two fields where you would like a page break to appear. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/CleanShot-2021-07-01-at-18.54.37.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/CleanShot-2021-07-01-at-18.54.37.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28057\" width=\"223\" height=\"312\" srcset=\"https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/CleanShot-2021-07-01-at-18.54.37.png 370w, https:\/\/docs.gravityforms.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/CleanShot-2021-07-01-at-18.54.37-214x300.png 214w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 223px) 100vw, 223px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">You should see that 3 items have been added to the form editor. These items allow you to determine where pages begin and end. 2 of these items, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Begin Paging<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\">End Paging<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> simply define that this form is a multi-page form. These items cannot be moved and will always be located at the beginning and end of the form editor when editing a multi-page form.<\/span><p>You should also see a <strong>Page Break<\/strong> field type displayed within the form editor. This item separates the individual pages in a multi-page form. You can add as many page breaks as you want.<\/span> <\/p><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-options\">Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To modify the behavior of multi-page forms, options exist within the individual items that are added using the <em>Page<\/em> field.
