TV show description: <\/strong>
\nThe brave and intelligent canine’s exploits continue in animated form. This time out, Lassie is part of a team that helps to save those in need and protects the wilderness of Thunder Mountain. <\/p>\n

Living on a ranch, Ranger Ben Turner (Ted Knight) is the leader of the rescue operations for Thunder Mountain National Park. His wife Laura (Jane Webb) is a doctor for the team. Both take part in Forest Force missions and regularly fly Rescue One, their helicopter. <\/p>\n

The Turners’ kids are also a valuable part of the rescue operations. They are teenagers Jackie (Keith Sutherland, Lane Scheimer) and Susan (Erika Scheimer) and youngest child, Ben Jr. (Keith Allen), who is also blind. The Turners’ Native American friend, Gene Fox (Hal Harvey), is also a regular member of the team and knows the forest better than anyone.<\/p>\n

When needed, Lassie can also count on her woodland friends for assistance and occasional humor. The “Rescue Rangers” include Toothless, an elderly lion; Edgar the crow; Groucho the owl; Fastback the turtle; Musty the skunk; a smart raccoon named Robbie; and an unnamed rabbit.<\/p>\n
