absolutely booty cheeks..do not watch if u love yourself and using your time on things that actually matter. It was so boring and repetitive. I hate zombie movies..they arent creative...at...friggin...all

(Overall Rating: 3.25/5) (Good) --- (Cinematography/Atmosphere: 4/5) Great makeup, great sound design and solid camerwork/shots all supplement each other well. --- (Storyline/Plot: 2.75/5) The whole film just felt rushed and this is a rare occasion where the film could have been longer to explain things. Also so much left out from the book. Inconsistent infected triggers. --- (Acting: 3.5/5) Sennia Nanua was great, everyone else was good enough. Not much else to report. --- (Character Quality: 3/5) This was definitely lacking from the novel and with it being so rushed you really don't get any depth to the characters. --- (Entertainment Value: 4/5) As a Zombie movie, this is entertaining with good suspense. It does this without being over the top. --- (Expectations vs. Reality: 2.25/5) I watched the movie once when it came out, enjoyed it. Read the book shortly before watching again about a decade later. Do one or the other but if you do both the movie will be dissapointing.

I'm giving this one a solid 8/10. The acting was really good, especially by the girl who played Melanie. I also liked the concept and world building-- similar to the Last of Us, as far as the zombies go, but with a unique twist. I think Melanie's character arc was really interesting too.
