About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Sr Content Writer to join our marketing team. You’ll manage content work across the team, create engaging technical content, and produce compelling copy for 200k+ WordPress users. If you have a passion for content writing and are ready to take on this opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
About you
- You have 3+ years of content writing experience, preferably in tech, software, or WordPress.
- Experience writing blogs, product content, documentation, landing pages, emails, and marketing copy.
- Good understanding of SEO, keyword research, search intent, and content optimization.
- Ability to research complex topics and explain them clearly.
- Data-driven mindset with an understanding of content performance and the customer journey.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working on-site.
- Open to feedback, learning, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with the CMO to support marketing initiatives, ad campaigns, and email campaigns, developing content strategies aligned with bPlugins’ business goals.
- Create, edit, and publish blog posts, technical documentation, product content, emails, and marketing materials.
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and visibility.
- Maintain consistency in writing style, tone, and brand voice, so every piece is clear, simple, and easy to understand for non-technical users.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, design, development, and support teams to create effective content for bPlugins products.
Must-have skills and experience
- Advanced English writing and communication skills for content and team management (required).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience developing content and marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with managing content files in Google Drive and Google Docs, plus tools like Moz and Keyword Planner.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
- Advanced experience in WordPress, technical writing, and content marketing.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
