The {{excerpt}} pattern in a Schema field behaves like the {{title}} pattern already did with your SEO title, so an optimised Meta Description no longer has to be copied into the Rich Snippets by hand and kept in sync there.

Fix: The WebSite structured data now publishes your <a class="wiki" href="http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/wiki/WordPress">WordPress</a> Site Title as the name of your site - the short name Google shows above your results - instead of the SEO title of the home page. The SEO title is a sentence written for the search result and was being cut short when Google read it as the site name.
